Halloween Morons Hang Palin

UPDATE: The Palin effigy has been taken down.

To the West Hollywood Guys,

Your idea of lynching Sarah Palin as a Halloween house decoration really stinks. Take it down. It is not helping your cause—presumably that of enhancing a liberal message of tolerance and unity.

Imagine if someone did this to an effigy of Barack Obama. The message would be hateful—loud and clear. So stop spreading the same kind of venom Palin and McCain do at their rallies and in their ads.

In case you don't think the Palin/McCain team are spewing venom here’s an article about Dozens of Call Center Workers Walk Off Job in Protest Rather than Read McCain Script Attacking Obama by Greg Sargent.

Rednecks for Obama

“I don't care about his beer, I care about his intelligence.”
“We've had many democratic presidents, and we will still have our guns.”
“He is brilliant. And he's not an elitist, though he has the education to be.”

Video: Lieberman on McCain, "our enemies will test the new President"

Lieberman said it first when discussing 2009's new president.

The War on the Middle Class

The War on Terror now includes the War on the Middle Class.

The Middle Class is engaged in such UN-American activities as trying to send their kids to college, and acquiring healthcare. They aspire to Socialist goals like retiring with a home and nest egg. And they are passing their terrorist values onto their children.

John McCain and Sarah Palin say there exists a PRO-America. By inference, another kind of America must exist. One they might call ANTI-America.

Well, here in REAL-America: Unemployment is rising; foreclosures increased 112% this year; and the US median wage fell below 2000’s average.

As we win the War on the Middle Class, more of our elderly will lose their homes to outrageous health insurance costs; our under-educated kids will have dead-end jobs; and crime will rise as poverty spreads.

Deep hatchet cuts in the federal budget, as John McCain suggests, will cause the kind of wide spread suffering not seen since the Great Depression. Ironically, by starving the Middle Class we may actually expand the welfare state.

And since when are tax breaks for the Middle Class Socialism? The Republicans have been pitching tax cuts forever. But I guess those kind of cuts are only for huge corporations and the super wealthy.

What is your dream for REAL-America?

If elected president, Barak Obama will lift ALL people of the USA, not just those with lobbyists. And, that is truly PRO-America.

Good ol' Fashion Fear Mongering

You know that email about the mysterious Barack Obama? The email has made its way around the country over the last year and attempts to spread lies and fear among conservatives and Christians about Obama. Here's a great and positive response posted at the Huffington Post blog. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/gordon-adams/a-response-to-the-anti-ob_b_137746.html

McCain Doesn't Support the Troops

John McCain is a Vietnam vet and POW. Veterans trust John McCain.

But McCain voted against funding for adequate armor for our troops in Iraq. He voted against sufficient rest for troops between deployments. He voted repeatedly against increasing health care and other benefits for veterans.

McCain voted against our troops’ interests so often that Disabled American Veterans gave McCain a 20% rating, and Iraq & Afghanistan Veterans of America gave McCain a D.

McCain seems out of touch with the latest technological developments in weaponry and combat protection our young soldiers need. Does he understand today’s higher cost of medical care our wounded need?

McCain's Straight Talk Express rolled over into the Double Talk Ditch when he said he will take care of our Vets.

Meanwhile, an Illinois senator voted against the invasion of a country that had nothing to do with the 9/11 attacks. The young senator thought America should stay the course of hunting down and killing bin Laden. This senator voted in favor of funding for proper armor and combat equipment for our troops, and for healthcare coverage when soldiers come home injured.

Consider a vote for Obama —his actions speak loudly of his true support for our troops and their families.
